Architect Continuing Education Frequently Asked Questions
I’m an AIA member. Do you report my continuing education hours to the AIA?
Yes. We report all continuing education hours to the AIA after you complete your continuing education with us, if you are an AIA member.
Do you report my results to the my state Architecture Licensing Board?
You will provide a copy of your architect CE certificates of completion with your license and check the box letting them know you completed your mandatory architect continuing education. If the board audits you, they will ask you to provide your certificates of completion for your architect continuing education courses.
Do you offer the Florida Advanced Building Code Course for Architects?
We have submitted a new Advanced Building Code course for approval. We are expecting the new course to be approved very soon.
Do you offer any architect continuing education training that is not online or correspondence?
We offer online and correspondence continuing education to renew your Florida architect license. We do not offer any classroom continuing education courses for Florida architects. Do you provide me with a certificate of completion when I finish your continuing education course?
Yes, all graduates of our Florida architect continuing education course will receive a certificate of completion. We can either email, mail, or fax the certificate to you.

I received one of your architect continuing education books. Can I use those hours for next renewal period or do I need to use them for my current architect license renewal period?
Architect continuing education courses expire with the AIA every three years, so you will just want to make sure you complete the course before it expires.
After I complete my architect continuing education courses, do I send my architect license renewal application to you?
No. You will send in your architect license renewal application to your state licensing board. The architect license renewal application should have an address on it telling you where to send it or where to renew online.
