Course Description
Pump stations are common in many industries for moving a variety of fluids. Engineers across many disciplines would benefit from a better understanding of pump stations. This course focuses on wastewater pump stations, but the knowledge learned applies to nearly any pump station. Topics include industry standards, common types of pump stations, design steps, defining flow rates, wet well dimensioning, hydraulics, and pump selection.
Course Objective:
After completing this course, you should have the basic knowledge and skills for the preliminary design of a pump station.
