This course will provide a comprehensive overview of the context of engineering including the nature of the relationship between engineering, technology, humans, and society in general. Consequently, a description of the need for engineering ethics, and the details of what engineering ethics constitute will be provided. The last part of the course provides applications and practical details of where engineering ethics are integrated in engineering practice.
