Description
Since about the 1980s and accelerating around the turn of the century, there has been what seems like a torrent of movements, regulations and debates around the need to contain the impacts of rapid urbanization and the built environment. Regardless of one’s personal opinions, the issues raised have now become an integral part of urban planning and building design discussion. Here is where the dilemma for many design professionals begins. Even if they understand the definitions, which many do not, there is often a struggle to express what causes and effects for the given project should be considered and how best to provide a meaningful design response that the client can easily understand and buy into. A simple proposition? Not always. It is the intent of this webinar, in the limited time, to bring clarity to many of the terms and concepts involved with the aspirations of Net Zero. This will provide design professional with an understanding of the terms, concepts and actions that are needed to do their part.
