Course Objective
In this course we shall discuss the various sources and forms of energy used to heat, ventilate, cool and refrigerate facilities, power transportation systems & vehicles and allow manufacturers to produce their end products. This course provides an overview of energy production and consumption in the United States and worldwide, and projections for the future. Energy used in buildings and facilities is responsible for 30 to 40% of the world’s energy use, significantly impacting world energy resources. We will look at worldwide statistics and US trends and regulatory influences.
